Jim Kelly - Managing Director


Jim oversees the general running of the Company and is the Health & Safety Director. Coming from an Electrical Engineering background he has worked within the building industry since leaving college and has over 40 years experience. Jim is our expert in the small works and response maintenance aspect that arise daily and for this reason he is responsible for our customer's reactive maintenance requirements.

Marcus Kelly - Commercial Director


Marcus has been with the Company since 1992 and has covered many different roles during this time. This has given him a vast knowledge and understanding of how to manage a wide range of projects. As our Commercial Director he is responsible for managing the larger contracts and generally meeting the needs of our existing commercial customers. He is also our representative for introducing new customers to the Company and generally managing the day to day running of the contracting operations.

Jodi Manning - Company Secretary


Jodi leads our office team and the general running of administration and accounts within the company and has done since 1999. It is her responsibility to ensure our office runs smoothly and efficiently giving our clients maximum admin support where required.

Steve Townsley - Quantity Surveyor


Steve looks after the preparation and submission of estimates and tenders ensuring enquiries are dealt with within the required timescale. He carries out valuations and measurement of works, handles progress payments and agreement of final accounts with our clients.

Cherylynne Williams - Head of Accounts


Cherylynne is a valued member of the team and began working for the Company in 1997. She is responsible for our Accounts Department and deals with all aspects of our company's financial affairs from payroll right through to invoicing. She is on hand to assist with our clients, suppliers and workforce when needed.

Chew Valley Construction is proud to have what we believe to be the best workforce in the business, not just individually good looking but always willing to work whatever hours are necessary to complete a job or attend a call out.

All members of our team from Site Managers through to General Labouring operatives are smart, methodical, skilled and confident in their particular field of expertise. We have long established relationships with our specialist sub-contractors and we continually monitor their performance and competitiveness.

We are always on hand to attend to our clients every request and will endeavour to overcome any tasks that arise both quickly and efficiently with the minimum amount of fuss.
