In recognition that our activities have an impact on the environment and our commitment to improve our environmental performance and minimise harmful effects on the environment 100% of our waste arising from our activities is taken to a controlled Recycling facility. All waste within this facility is segregated, sorted and recycled where possible. We believe that as much as 85% of all waste that we produce is recyclable. Our aim is to improve on this in the future and minimise waste wherever possible.
In addition to our recycling aims our vehicle fleet is managed by a real time tracking facility. This ensures all journeys are carried out efficiently with the minimum amount of mileage. We make a conscious effort to group many separate work activities together thereby reducing Co2 emissions and minimising the impact on our environment.
Our vehicles are all regularly and meticulously maintained ensuring they continue to run efficiently and when vehicles are replaced we aim to add to our fleet smaller vehicles where possible with the latest technology diesel engines.
